Lindsay was a level 10 gymnast who has competed nationwide. She is ranked as one of "Barrington's Top 100 Athletes of the Century," was a state qualifier, and placed all 4 years in the State Gymnastics Meet in high school. She then went on to compete for University of Illinois's club team where she qualified to National's 2 years in a row. She then went on to start coaching at the age of 22 with a brief hiatus to raise her 3 children. She is a professional Member with USAG, Safety Certified with USAG, and CPR Certified.
Coach Bre
Brehan was a Level 10 National Qualifier at the age of 13. She pursued the sport of gymnastics in high school at the age of 14, qualifying and placing all 4 years in the State Gymnastics Meet. In college she pursued cheerleading at the University of Kansas, where her team qualified for Nationals all 4 years. She has been coaching gymnastics for 10 years. Some of her accomplishments and certifications include: Bachelor of Psychology, Professional Member with USAG, Safety Certified with USAG, CPR Certified.
Coach Caitlin
Caitlin was walking on a balance beam before the ground, thanks to having an artistic gymnastics coach as a mom. She has over 10 years’ experience as a competitive gymnast, up to level 10. Caitlin also has experience with coaching gymnastics and providing routine choreography for as long as she can remember (just ask her sisters!)
Coach Nancy
“Momma” has been the Assistant Gymnastics Coach at Barrington High School since 1990. She created the original Parents and Tots program for the Chicago Park District and was the first to ever organize city wide gymnastics meet in Chicago. She is excited to bring her years of experience to Elite Core Gymnastics.
Coach Marissa
Marissa started gymnastics at just 2 in a Mom-and-Tot class. She competed in USAG competitions until level 9, before turning her focus to high school. She was a four-year varsity member and two-year captain for the Barrington High School team, from 2008-2012. Marissa “retired” when she went to Appalachian State University. She is a commissioned officer in the Illinois National Guard and has a Bachelors of Science degree in chemistry.
Rec Director/Coach Christine
Christine has had a passion for gymnastics since she started in the 4th grade. She competed club until High School. At Elk Grove High School, she competed all-around for the Varsity gymnastics team. After graduation, she continued her love for the sport by coaching Rec classes for Elk Grove Gymnastics School and the Mt. Prospect Park District. She took a short break to raise her 3 young children. She is now happy to be sharing her passion again with everyone at Elite Core Gymnastics.
