Elite Core Gymnastics is founded by a family of sisters who have been in a gymnastics gym since the day they were born. Their Mother was a gymnast and a coach, creating in each one of them a passion and love for the sport of gymnastics. They are dedicated to creating a fun and devoted atmosphere to the children under their instruction. ECG's "Core" beliefs arise from their training, as well as the family principals based upon trust, respect, and discipline. Most importantly, the principal belief of Elite Core Gymnastics is recognizing that each athlete is a unique individual, and will focus on bringing out the best in each child they encounter.

Caitlin was walking on a balance beam before the ground, thanks to having an artistic gymnastics coach as a mom. She has over 10 years’ experience as a competitive gymnast, up to level 10. Caitlin also has experience with coaching gymnastics and providing routine choreography for as long as she can remember (just ask her sisters!)
“Momma” has been the Assistant Gymnastics Coach at Barrington High School since 1990. She created the original Parents and Tots program for the Chicago Park District and was the first to ever organize city wide gymnastics meet in Chicago. She is excited to bring her years of experience to Elite Core Gymnastics.
Marissa started gymnastics at just 2 in a Mom-and-Tot class. She competed in USAG competitions until level 9, before turning her focus to high school. She was a four-year varsity member and two-year captain for the Barrington High School team, from 2008-2012. Marissa “retired” when she went to Appalachian State University. She is a commissioned officer in the Illinois National Guard and has a Bachelors of Science degree in chemistry.
Rec Director/Coach Christine
Christine has had a passion for gymnastics since she started in the 4th grade. She competed club until High School. At Elk Grove High School, she competed all-around for the Varsity gymnastics team. After graduation, she continued her love for the sport by coaching Rec classes for Elk Grove Gymnastics School and the Mt. Prospect Park District. She took a short break to raise her 3 young children. She is now happy to be sharing her passion again with everyone at Elite Core Gymnastics.
